Cheap Headphones Discount Headphones

total sound block out! poor bass
These headphones block outside noise better than any other headphone I've worn since I was a little kid and they had those huge 70s headphones. I'm a mobile dj and these are great for cueing up and listening to possible next tracks without blowing your ears out. Often with other headphones the music from the speakers would be so loud that I'd have to turn the headphones even louder to drown out the music, by the end of the night my ears would hurt and I'd have a headache.
These provide a seal over my ears that blocks out an incredible amount of the noise around me. I just put a little bit of the track I'm playing in the headphone mix so I don't miss any transitions. My only problem with these headphones is something that has been said in some of the other reviews and that is the lack of bass response with these headphones. You can hear very, very little bass in these headphones. But, the trade off of the incredible noise reduction and the great guarantee Koss offers makes them a four star for me.

Best purchase I've made in sometime.
I've had the Audeo Perfect Fits for a few months now, having purchased them to replace my Shure E2cs. And I love them. I've configured them such that I've inserted the included gray filters for added bass, and I also use the foam earbuds. I had previously used the silicone earbuds, but had to replace them with the foam earbuds when the silicone 'buds repeatedly fell off. I also lost one of the wrap around earpieces. They're completely unnecessary anyways.

These Phonaks are quite amazing for being basically IEMs. They're not true noise canceling phones, and they don't claim to be. They do introduce outside noise more than I'd like, and as such, require a higher level of volume than the Shures. But the sound stage is quite a bit larger. They're nearly as wide open sounding as my Grado SR60s when connected to my McIntosh amplifier, and Pioneer DVD player. I consider this quite the feat for IEMs. The foam is comfortable, and I can essentially fall asleep with the PFEs in my ears.

I've no complaint about anything, except that I do feel they can be over driven (blown out sound) at near deafening volumes. Its when I hear this crackle that I back off.

They might seem pricey, but compared to the upper echelon offerings from Shure and Etymotic, these are quite the bargain. I'd recommend them to anyone, except for people requiring complete outside sound isolation.

Keeps the kids quiet on long trips
I have 4 kids who are a PITA while driving anywhere.

I got one headphone for each of them during road trips and they now quietly listen to their music, watch their movies or play their games in silence :-)

These earbuds exceed my expectations
I was sceptical about their ability to cancel noise, as competitive products are 3 to 4 times the price, but when I first tried them, I was really impressed by the difference in background noise with the noise cancelling on versus off.

I needed noise cancelling for work, as the ambient noise is so distracting that I can't concentrate. Previously I was cranking the volume of my music to the point of pain. With this set, the noise cancelling provides enough sound dampening that I can keep my music at a comfortable volume level.

I'm no audiophile, so I can't really comment on the dynamic range or other qualities, but the sound quality is more than adequate for my taste. I haven't tried the competitor's products, but these actually work and the price 1/3 to 1/4 less than the competitor's. Since I'm not an audiophile, I probably wouldn't be able tell the difference between this and the competitor's products anyway.

Great headphones
Great durable headphones. The weight felt heavy for a while but my neck became accustomed to it after a few days and now I barely notice it. Has good built in sound dampening and great sound. I would give five stars if it came packaged with a quality adapter for use with a small headphone jack, generic adapters don't work great and will cause static and sound loss when barely touched.

Don't even think about it!
I purchased last november five MDR-NC6 for my company. The left side on two of them don't work any more, and the noise canceling is a joke.

I just called Sony; no much help: I can send mine and pay for a refurbished/used pair. What a waste of time and money. The C/S guy at Sony didn't even care that this was an ongoing problem with this model. I had just ordered 6 more sony headphones but I am going to cancel the order.
