Panasonic RP-HS52 Shockwave Clip-on and Straps Design Headphones with In-line Volume Control Clip-on Headphones with In-cord Volume Control and XBS Extra Bass System.
Customer Review: Great for the price
I have purchased any number of clip-on headphones over the past few years. Some have greater sound quality than others. Some are nicer looking or more comfortable. All well and good but the reason I buy a lot of these headphones is because I break them almost as quickly as I buy them. I use the clip-on’s at the gym, in the car, at the office, around the block, on the plane. I wear them so I can hear the music plus the outside noise. Plus, earbuds are too big for my ears and hurt after about 30 minutes of use. I break the ear-clips off routinely no matter what brand or the amount I paid. For the price the sound on these are great, the volume control is critical for using in the office and they are stylish (everyone thinks I paid more for these than any others I have owned). My only beef is that the cord is a bit short but is only a problem when I am plugged into my work computer.
Customer Review: Should have stuck with the RP-HG50s
I previously bought the Panasonic RP-HG50 Neck Band Headphones with XBS Extra Bass System and wanted an extra pair to go to the gym. The foam pads on the HG50s fell off too easily and I did not notice when it happened so I had to replace them with ill fitting Plantronic ear cushions. Anyway, the sound on the HG50s is great, I cannot say that about these RP-HG52s. The sound is weak and tinny, nowhere near the bass of the HG50s. I doubt I will ever use these and will probably give them away, looks like I’ll be looking for another set of ear cushions for my HG50s.

If you like bass get the RP-HG50’s instead. They seem to stay on my ears better than these, and I don’t mind the neckband. My ideal set is actually not designed, I wish the Sennheiser PMX100 Supra-Aural Mini-Neckband Stereo Headphones had a volume control. Those have been the best, but without volume control they are useless for me when I exercise - reaching for the volume control on the Panasonic headphones won’t cause me to fall. I have already nearly fallen a few times when I was trying to mess with getting my iPod out of my pocket and fixing the volume on it directly.

Pros: Volume control, lightweight
Cons: Tinny sound, no bass, clip headphones don’t stay on my ears as well as neckband headphones - especially when exercising.
