Customer Review: Better then some
These are the 3rd pair of headphone that I have owned. All things being equal, they are the best sounding pair that I have. But they do have some problems. Their range is very short. Going beyond the room where the base is can be troublesome. I have 800 Mhz headphones, and while know that frequency can penetrate walls better then 2.4Ghz I was hoping they would at least keep up with my laptop’s wireless which they don’t even come close. If your not going far from the base then these are the headphones for you!
Customer Review: Pretty nice
I bought these primarily so I could watch TV while on the treadmill without having the volume real loud. They’re pretty much everything I hoped they would be.

They are super easy to use; you never have to turn anything on or off. The base turns on as soon as it detects a signal, that is, when the TV is turned on. The headphones turn on when you put them on.

The wireless works perfectly. I’m using them with a Panasonic 50″ plasma. I’m not an audiophile, but they come in strong and clear not only on the floor where the base is, but on the floor below too (where the bathroom is). And working out without a cord to trip over is just great.

They sound fantastic when the broadcast is digital and many details can be heard that aren’t clear through the TV’s speakers. I have it hooked up with digital optical cable, another big plus. Analog broadcasts sound so-so, but that’s not the headphone’s fault. I personally don’t like the simulated surround effect and leave that turned off.

The only drawbacks are: I wish they were a little lighter, and I wish they cost less than $175. But they aren’t and they don’t. So be it. I like them.
